Welcome to my Lake District blog! Here you will find several pages dedicated to my new aim in life - simple living. I've spent far too long on the career path and have decided to say goodbye to working for other people and will now be working for myself.

This life is not for everyone. In fact when my old work colleagues read this they may just say that I've gone crazy (?!) However, I can honestly say that my new lifestyle changes have led to feelings of happiness that I have not experienced since those long summer holidays of my childhood. Pressure has gone. Stress has gone. Responsibility has gone. I am now responsible only for my family, and I love it!
